If you grew up in China, you might remember the kids show “Black Cat Police Sheriff” (黑猫警长). I don’t remember too much about the show, other than all the kids loved it in kindergarten. In fact, it was so popular, that the special children’s choir I belonged to sang the theme song in front of government officials and foreign dignitaries.
Well guess what, Cat police is real, and he works in a real police head quarters in Kyoto Japan. According to Kotaku, this cat cop named “Iemon” encourages old people to report scams that they other wise would be too embarrassed to tell a human. Way to go cat cop!
